From 'London', the hometown of the 'rulers'
From 'London', the hometown of the 'rulers' |
When I agreed to come to London for the first time in my life, I realized how much freedom there is in my Karachi. There are only restrictions for breaking every law. I have never seen my Pakistani brothers bound in such restrictions. One is our beloved country, park your car wherever you want, throw garbage wherever you want.
I missed hearing car horns except for a couple of times. Friends said that here, for the slightest violation, a love letter is received at home in the form of a 'ticket', sometimes a hundred pounds, sometimes two hundred. The truth is that nations are known for their discipline, but I was surprised that this is a kind of 'home town' of our 'political elite', they are often found here, except for the periodical rule, only a few laws and Try implementing the same governance style in your own country as well, be sure it will be a lot of fun. It is possible that you people should start living in Pakistan.
It's not that 'incidents' don't happen in 'London' or other UK cities, street crimes don't happen, mobile phones don't have to be protected. Here too, the family members are warned not to keep the door open, to open the door carefully when the bell rings. My friend from Karachi University, Akram Qaim Khani, in whose house I was staying, received the news of mobile theft two weeks ago, as if such an incident had never happened here. b
I found out that similar incidents have happened two or three times with another journalist friend Muhammad Hanif. Seeing garbage lying on the roads in the areas of those who consider cleanliness as 'half-faith' felt a little strange. But the fact is that the most beautiful aspect of life here is the discipline that people of all castes follow very conscientiously, the main reason being that there is no 'VVIP' culture here. What the law is for the common man is for the rulers. The most beautiful aspect here is their strong 'municipal system', according to some citizens, 'who is elected in our city council is more important than who is the prime minister'.
Here, the state takes care of its citizens, irrespective of their religion, as long as you are a British citizen, like a mother takes care of her children.
A friend of mine living abroad has told me that the education and health of my children is the responsibility of the state. According to this friend, “I have been driving a taxi for years but I am satisfied because the state bears the burden of my children's education and health.
Five hundred thousand pounds have been spent on the 'special child' of an acquaintance, and the government has taken responsibility for years.
Taxi driving is respected and the biggest and most important observation is that this nation has the highest respect for pedestrians, cyclists and animals. Here, children are taught from childhood how to cross the road, where to throw garbage. My observation is that what I saw, understood and wrote, I am surprised that most of our political and non-political people. Their houses are here, their children also get education here and these stories are not so wrong that it is not possible with the earning of 'Haq Halal'. The need is not felt.
However, there are also stories that a young man from Jhang made his way through life from a 'yellow school' and is now studying at Oxford University. His journey was not easy. I happened to get a chance to talk to him otherwise I went to see what is going to happen in the 'Chancellor's Election' after all our most talked about former Prime Minister and prisoner 804 Imran Khan is also a candidate and will be the next candidate. Saturday is likely to be a decision on whether or not he is even eligible to fight.
Another former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto got a chance to see the 'Corner' where her photo was also displayed. Now imagine how a young man from a very poor family ended up in a school that produces world leaders. Where he paid his thanks, he then gave credit to his parents as well as to Mr. Ali Tareen, son of Jahangir Tareen, whose scholarship from his foundation made him reach here.
The story is also very painful for Arif, a young man from Quetta who has been driving a taxi in London for the past 20 years and is satisfied that he still remembers the smell of Balochistan.
"He would say what can I do, Mazhar Bhai, more than two dozen people of my family were killed in target killing and bomb blasts."
Here hard work is rewarded, there is a bullet, here my wife, children are taken care of by the state like a mother, there lapsed. I am not a political person but I am telling the truth.
Two youths were also found whose father worked in BCCI Bank of Agha Hasan Abidi Sahib. Satisfied because the state takes care of education and health. How many 'stories' are there? It was also agreed to go to those areas where a 'fake news' had recently caused riots. Extremist-minded, narrow-minded, racist people also exist in every society. My friend and I would have been victims of it ourselves, otherwise someone else would have been giving this news today.
But from the British Parliament to the Mayor of London, our elites are not even familiar with the 'ABCD' of the democratic system seen here, or else they do not want to see their nation as equal to them. There is only that much difference in the democracy of the two countries, that is, the rule of law in Britain and the rule of law in our beloved Pakistan.
Here, the constitutional amendments are being fought as if the country is running according to the constitution. One is this country which is running constitutionally without a constitution. Traditions are so strong that the King is respected and the Parliament is also respected, but the real respect here is for the 'Republic'. May there be a Dr. Hina roaring in an open sewer and criminal silence in the halls.
What can be a greater example of a democratic society than that the 'westernized' society which we criticize day by day is fulfilling its responsibility under an integrated system beyond color and caste, just from our elites. There is so much request to take care of your country like your hometown 'London'. (continued)
